Here you can learn more about us and how we got here. This isn't something you need to know, but a fun little storytime for those who are curious. :)

Navtav SMP was created back in early 2021. It started off as a fun and more stable way for the owners to hang out during quarantine because Bedrock worlds never worked properly. It was named Duckbush, a combination of two nicknames the owners have for each other.

As time went by, we decided to put our Discord server on Disboard to make more friends to play with. People started joining and really enjoyed their time here. Some of our first members are still part of the server and are now admins who help us keep our server a safe and fun place for everyone.

Eventually, the server started to grow more and more, so we accepted more members played with them frequently. After we hit a certain number of members, we decided it was time to become more mature. We collected name ideas for the SMP and voted for the best one. Navtav was a combination of two of the owners’ gamertags, navvylove and Heltarv, which the members liked the most.

So, we changed our name, added more security to our server to prevent rulebreaking, created our very own website, started a Patreon and social media profiles to gain more members and motivate the owners to keep improving our servers for a happier and more active community.

Today, we are the biggest SMP on Disboard. We have built a wonderful and wholesome community of over a hundred whitelisted members, and the numbers keep growing. Our members wanted to enjoy our server on both Minecraft editions, so we collected enough donations to start a Java server as well. Both of our servers are thief-proof, stable, and offer generous kits for new members, have interesting lore that members contribute to, and a helpful staff team to guide you and help with your start on our servers.

We strive to make all of our members feel welcome to express themselves on our servers by listening to their suggestions and taking them into consideration, as well as being there to help with their builds, farming, and more.
